Desert Aire July 09

This past weekend we went to Desert Aire to spend time with the family. Thank you Cousin Steve and Darci for a fantastic time. Aunt Tina and Aunt Staci, please send me your pictures. As you can tell, I was not able to take too many of them. The kids kept us busy playing in the water, eating tons of food, riding their bikes, and playing with all of their toys. The clouds were out, but it didn't keep the heat away. Canyon and I went on a walk one morning and saw a wild bunny. Boy, did that put a smile on his face. It was so nice to have spent time with Uncle Brand and Aunt Cathy. The kids also enjoyed their time playing in their camper. As the kids grow older, the times are getting better. Talk about R&R. Thanks again. Mel and family.

Cookie monster. Yum, Yum, Yum!
Canyon playing in the sand. The kids loved that.

Their first time behind the boat. No crying here.
Pit stop on the way there.

Mud Mountain Dam

If you need to get out of town, and don't want to drive too far, check out Mud Mountain Dam. It is on the way to Crystal Mountain. There are several play areas, a wading pool with a water fountain, and covered BBQ areas to have a picnic.

Boat Ride

It's only been about 2 years since we took the boat out. We decided to take the kids out on Friday. It was hot, but the breeze kept us cool. They all did such a great job. Thanks Phillip for taking us.

Happy Birthday Uncle Sean

Happy Birthday Sean. It's so hard to believe that you will be turning the big 3-0 next year.
Yesterday we celebrated Sean's birthday at my parents house. We were finally able to get a family picture taken - thanks Jen!!!!

The boys loved the ice cream cake - me too:)

When we got home last night, look what I found in the downstairs toilet. Canyon was in so much trouble!!!

More pictures from this past weekend

Happy Birthday Gavin Michael Ostrander

It's hard to believe that our little buddy turned 5 years old. We love you Gavin.....

Dosewallips - July 09

This past weekend we went camping with the Ostander's, Johnson's, and several other families. It was our first time at Dosewallips (Hood Canal area). We camped not too far from the River. The kids had a blast playing in the water and eating once again lots and lots of junk food. Carol brought cup cakes and we celebrated Gavin's birthday. We also took the boys to the beach to check out the clams and oysters. Thanks everyone for a FANTASTIC time and for providing the best food.

More pictures of the 4th

4th of July 2009

For the 4th of the July, we continued our tradition by camping at Bay Lake. This year there were 7 kids. Talk about a wild event. This was the first for the Nino's. All of the kids had a blast eating junk food, playing in the dirt, riding their bikes, watching the fireworks (except for Nicholas and Canyon, they watched a movie in the Tahoe) and they even got to go on a boat ride. It went by too fast, but it was nice to sleep in my bed. Thank you Ostrander's for another fantastic outing.

Jaxson Arnold

Today we got a visit from Diana and Jaxson. I was kind of glad that Canyon was not around. He would of had a hay day. Tristan loved to give Jaxson kisses. Di - you look great!!! He is such a calm baby. Watch out, Canyon was the same way. Thanks for stopping by.

Our little pool

Canyon may wine a lot, but he sure does crack me up. He just had to put all of his outside toys into the pool. As you can tell, there was not too much room left for his brother to join him.

Jason and Kyndra's Couple's Shower

As you can tell from below, the theme for Jason and Kyndra's couple's shower was the 80's. My oh My, our friends came up with some AWESOME costumes. Gina and Randy put on a wonderful shower. Jason and Kyndra, we are so happy for the two of you. Can't wait for the big day.
