Where did our so called Summer go? It's been 2 weeks (or longer) since my last post.

It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years (Aug 7th 2005) since Tristan was born. Phillip and I took him to Toys R Us this evening to pick out his birthday gift. This is what he picked out.

A way to save money

Tristan was so dirty this afternoon, I put him in the utility sink to wash up. Canyon ended up joining him. They had a blast. What a way to take a bath and so save some water.

Yard work

Gavin and Tristan love to help in the yard. I hope that their desire continues when they get older.

Uncle Mike and Dianna stopped by my parents house this evening. They were on their way back from Idaho via motorcycle. It's been a while since I have seen him. We are just loving his hair:)

Zoobilee 2008

Last night we went to Zoobilee for the first time. It was so much fun. We eat and drank too much, but it sure was worth it. Thank you Jason for giving us a ride. Too bad that you and Kyndra could not make it. Here's to next year!!!!

New haricut

And...it wasn't Canyon. I just love the fact that I can pay $10 for Tristan's haircut's. I am still debating on when I should cut Canyon's hair. For some reason, I keep holding back.

Having fun on the swing

Last night we had a BBQ with a few friends. As you can tell from the pictures, the kids were having a blast on the swing.

One dream coming true

Finally...We demolished the front yard this past weekend. OMG!!! I can hardly wait to lay down on the front yard without getting scrapped up from the weeds. Stay tuned for the outcome.

Oh Tristan, you look so peaceful. Phillip left the room, within 30 seconds Tristan was sound asleep.

4th of July 2008

Happy 4th of July. We made it through another camping trip. The kids had so much fun. We enjoyed watching Phillip and Mike light off the fireworks. Canyon slept through the entire show (I was very surprised).

On Saturday we took the kids down to beach. It only took Canyon 2 minutes to fall into the mud (low tide). Overall, the kids got a long very well.

Todd brought his two children along with Momma "T". My parents along with Phillip's also celebrated the day with us. Thanks for all of the awesome food!!!

Sitting still

Here is another picture taken in Tristan's rocking chair. This time it's with Canyon. He is growing up so fast. He can now climb onto the couch and slide down our bed to get off of it.

Best Buds

Look how cute they are. If they only got along like this all of the time. I am not sure where Canyon was, so I had to include him separately.

I just can't get over Canyon's hair. I don't ever want to cut it. However, the time is going to come, shortly that is. He is so cute!!!!! I love it, I love it, I love it.

Movie night

We let the kids have some popcorn last night while they watched their movie. Most of it landed on the floor rather than in their mouths.

Father's Day

It has almost been a week since Father's Day. Better late than never. Here are a few pictures from last Sunday.

Tristan and Gavin love to follow Phillip with their lawn mowers. Not only does Tristan like to help daddy work in the yard, he helps out with the laundry and dishes.

Sunday BBQ

Phill and Carol returned from Arizona on Saturday. Phillip and I had a BBQ with both parents along with Maggi, Gavin, and Madalyn. I actually made some brownies. From the looks of it, the kids sure did love them:)

Tristan with a worm

Tristan found a worm today. After playing with it for less than five minutes, the poor little worm passed away. After it died, Tristan said that it was yummy and that he wanted to eat it. Yuck!!!! Good for me. I wonder if he has actually tried to eat one. Who knows when it comes to him.
