The Bride to Be

On Saturday, Aunt Mary had a bridal shower for Kristina. She received so many wonderful gifts. It was so nice to get together with the girls. Welcome Kristina to the Ringrose family. Here's to a marriage with with lots of laughter and love. Congratulations!!! It's hard to believe that in a month you will become Mrs. Ringrose!

Cupcakes

Tomorrow Tristan and his classmates are celebrating his birthday at school (Summer birthday's never get left out). So, instead of buying them, Tristan and I baked Cupcakes this afternoon. Gosh, I hope that they turn out. We had a lot of fun and we should do it more often.

Coug fan at age 3 1/2

Phillip taught Tristan to be a Coug's fan at a very young age. His famous quote "Tristan can go to any college that he would like to attend, however his tuition check will be made out to WSU".

Canyon's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday we were finally able to celebrate Canyon's birthday at Roundtable. Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful gifts. Once again he was spoiled. Safeway did an awesome job on his cake. For once, we did not have to bring home any leftovers.

They could not wait until it was time to eat the cake. Thank you Giovanni for helping blow out the candle:)

Andrea's 30th Birthday

Last night we celebrated Dre's 30th birthday at the Beach Tavern. Five minutes after we arrived, Dre and I ordered our favorite - 1 grilled cheese on wheat, chips and a side of ranch, and 1 egg salad on wheat with chips and a side of ranch. Thank goodness we ate when we did. It was so nice to see everyone. It's been a long time since we have all gone out together. Happy Birthday Dre!!!

Summer fever

Last week when the sun was shinning, the kids enjoyed a pop sickle on the front porch. Right now it's raining cats and dogs. Sunshine, hurry back. We miss you!

Opening Day Lake Fishing - 2009

This past weekend we went camping with the Ostander's. It was opening day lake fishing. Mike, Phillip, Tristan, and Gavin all caught a fish or two. This year went a lot smoother than last year. Canyon did not wake up at the break of dawn. The older kids made it through both days with out taking naps. We probably eat and drank too much, but we had so much fun.

Madalyn and Tristan fell asleep in Dennis and Kathy's bed after a long day of playing in the fresh air.

Happy 2nd Birthday Canyon

It is so hard to believe that our little boy turned 2 today. He has become such a character. The other night Tristan threw Canyon’s clothes and diaper in the bath tub. Canyon decided to dump a bucket of water on my head while I tried to clean out the tub. He made me laugh so hard that I forgot why I was mad. Canyon, we love you so much. Happy Birthday little guy!!

Cousins

Today we went on an Easter egg hunt with Gavin, Madalyn, Giovanni, and Georgia. It went by so fast that I did not have a chance to take any pictures during the event. However, I did get a few afterwards at Mark and Deb's house. Little Georgia is so cute. She will be one in July. We had such a wonderful time. Thanks guys!!!

3 Wheeler

Canyon decided that he wanted to be just like his brother and two cousins. He jumped on Madalyn's 3 wheeler and rode it like a pro. He was so good that it was kind of scary to watch. That boy has no fear:)

Tristan's first swimming lesson

Last Tuesday Tristan and Madalyn had their first swimming lesson at Wilson. I was unable to attend (had to stay home with Canyon). However, both sets of Grandparents along with Phillip and Maggi were there to cheer them on. On Thursday, Maggi and I took all of the kids to watch. I learned my own lesson.....I will NOT take Canyon again until he is old enough to join them. Oh yeah..Tristan told the instructor that his name was Matthew. It wasn't until 15 minutes later that he told her "my name is not Matthew, it's Tristan". He is such a little joker.

Carol's 70th

We sure did celebrate a lot of b-day's in March (Mom (Jan), Mike, Pat, and Maggi) and then on April 1st was Carol's 70th. This past weekend, the entire Ringrose family took a trip down to Ocean City to celebrate her b-day. We rented two houses not far from the beach. We all had such a wonderful time which included hours in the sunshine.

Maggi's 40th

I am a little late posting this. Not last weekend, but the weekend before, Mike through a surprise b-day party for Maggi at Cheer's West. We (Maggi, Staci, Di, and I) started at the beach. One way or another, we talked Maggi into going up to Cheers. Little did she know that family and friends were waiting for her at the front door. Tears fell from her eye's as everyone yelled "Surprise". Thank you to all that were able to attend. I don't have any pictures from the party (Cuz Deb, please send me a few) here are a few from the beach.
