Tristan's 1st day of preschool

Today was Tristan's first day of pre-school with Madalyn. I did not get emotional until I heard that he wanted his momma when Papa John picked him up for school and only wanted me.

One long day

I have been meaning to post this. After a long, long day of playing, Tristan fell asleep in the hall way on his way to his room. Poor little guy!

Phillip's bday continued

Friday night we went down to the Beach to celebrate Phillip's birthday. A lot of our b-day's have been spent there. Next thing we know, the kids will be old enough to attend. Last night we continued at our house with some yummy ice cream cake. Thank you everyone for the gifts. Phillip is going to have a wonderful time shopping at Cabella's.

Deer Mount

Phillip finally got his Deer Mount. This is the one that he shot last year. There is no way in this world that I would allow him to mount it upstairs. It's new home is in the basement.

Tristan's 4th Birthday

Due to the possibility of ran, we decided to stay home instead of celebrating Tristan's 4th birthday at Mud Mountain Dam. He was spoiled once again with a ton of gifts; pj's, guitar, baseball machine, baseball toss and catch, movie, clothes, car set, big dump truck, puzzles, and lots of other exciting stuff. This year Phillip and I bought him a moon that lights up for his room along with a bath set, and two dinosaurs. It was so to have seen all of the family. Thanks for everything!!!

Tristan's first M's game

Last night Phillip and Uncle Mike took Tristan and Gavin to the Mariners game. This was Tristan's first time. What a perfect way to celebrate his birthday. I was sad that I could not attend, but I know that he had a blast with his cousin. Tristan we love you very much. It's hard to believe that you are now 4 years old. You are growing up too fast.

Doug and Sandy's - Aug 09

It's 10:30pm and I am finally sitting down after a wonderful day spent at Doug and Sandy Coates house. The kids had a blast. Tristan and Gavin spent a lot of their time in the water. Gavin was able to swim from the shore to the floating dock. Tristan and Gavin have become so independent. How did the time go by so fast? We enjoyed ourselves watching the sunset from Doug and Sandy's deck. What a beautiful sight it was. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Desert Aire July 09

This past weekend we went to Desert Aire to spend time with the family. Thank you Cousin Steve and Darci for a fantastic time. Aunt Tina and Aunt Staci, please send me your pictures. As you can tell, I was not able to take too many of them. The kids kept us busy playing in the water, eating tons of food, riding their bikes, and playing with all of their toys. The clouds were out, but it didn't keep the heat away. Canyon and I went on a walk one morning and saw a wild bunny. Boy, did that put a smile on his face. It was so nice to have spent time with Uncle Brand and Aunt Cathy. The kids also enjoyed their time playing in their camper. As the kids grow older, the times are getting better. Talk about R&R. Thanks again. Mel and family.

Cookie monster. Yum, Yum, Yum!
Canyon playing in the sand. The kids loved that.

Their first time behind the boat. No crying here.
Pit stop on the way there.

Mud Mountain Dam

If you need to get out of town, and don't want to drive too far, check out Mud Mountain Dam. It is on the way to Crystal Mountain. There are several play areas, a wading pool with a water fountain, and covered BBQ areas to have a picnic.
