Cougs 2008

Even though the Cougs did not win today, we had a great time over at Chris and Larissa's. Their baby is getting so big. It's hard to believe that Ella is 6 months old.

If you were wondering, yes I have a black eye. I got it from Tristan.

Growing up too fast

Tristan made eggs the other morning for breakfast and Canyon decided that it's time he joins us at the kitchen table.

Happy Birthday Papa John

More from the reunion

1. Aunt Kathy and Cousin Darci
2. Pat and Gail
3. Tristan, Madalyn, and Gavin

A few updates....

Where did our so called Summer go? It's been 2 weeks (or longer) since my last post.

Above you will find a few pictures from Tristan's birthday, our Tom Petty trip with the Ringrose's, and some pictures from last week's family reunion.

Take care,

Melinda and family

What a mess...

Any loving every minute of it.

Happy Birthday Tristan James Ringrose

It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years (Aug 7th 2005) since Tristan was born. Phillip and I took him to Toys R Us this evening to pick out his birthday gift. This is what he picked out.

More pictures to come.

A way to save money

Tristan was so dirty this afternoon, I put him in the utility sink to wash up. Canyon ended up joining him. They had a blast. What a way to take a bath and so save some water.

Yard work

Gavin and Tristan love to help in the yard. I hope that their desire continues when they get older.

Picture in rocking chair

Here is another picture of Tristan and Canyon sitting in their rocking chair.

Uncle Jimmy and Canyon

Happy Birthday Uncle Sean!!

We love you!

Uncle Mike and Dianna

Uncle Mike and Dianna stopped by my parents house this evening. They were on their way back from Idaho via motorcycle. It's been a while since I have seen him. We are just loving his hair:)

Zoobilee 2008

Last night we went to Zoobilee for the first time. It was so much fun. We eat and drank too much, but it sure was worth it. Thank you Jason for giving us a ride. Too bad that you and Kyndra could not make it. Here's to next year!!!!

New haricut

And...it wasn't Canyon. I just love the fact that I can pay $10 for Tristan's haircut's. I am still debating on when I should cut Canyon's hair. For some reason, I keep holding back.

Gavin Michael Ostrander turns 4!

Happy birthday buddy! We love you.

Having fun on the swing

Last night we had a BBQ with a few friends. As you can tell from the pictures, the kids were having a blast on the swing.

One dream coming true

Finally...We demolished the front yard this past weekend. OMG!!! I can hardly wait to lay down on the front yard without getting scrapped up from the weeds. Stay tuned for the outcome.

Sound asleep

Oh Tristan, you look so peaceful. Phillip left the room, within 30 seconds Tristan was sound asleep.

4th of July 2008

Happy 4th of July. We made it through another camping trip. The kids had so much fun. We enjoyed watching Phillip and Mike light off the fireworks. Canyon slept through the entire show (I was very surprised).

On Saturday we took the kids down to beach. It only took Canyon 2 minutes to fall into the mud (low tide). Overall, the kids got a long very well.

Todd brought his two children along with Momma "T". My parents along with Phillip's also celebrated the day with us. Thanks for all of the awesome food!!!
